Red Bean Soup (Che Dau Do)

Ingredients

  • 200g Red beans

  • 150g Flour

  • 200g Rock Sugar

  • 100ml Coconut milk

Instructions

Step 1: Red beans soaked in water 1-2 hours for tendering.

Step 2: Pour the flour into a bowl and add hot water slowly. Then mix well and knead the dough by hand into a smooth dough. Cut the dough into small cubes.

Step 3: Place the beans in a pot, add water to cook the beans to tender. Add the dough cubes when beans are tender. When the dough cubes float on the surface, add sugar and bring to a boil.

Step 4: Add the coconut milk into a small pot, bring to a boil. Add some flour to thicken the coconut milk and turn off the stove.

Serve red bean soup in a cup, top with coconut milk and ice.
